Fleetwood Town can confirm goalkeeper Alex Cairns has joined Sky Bet League Two side Hartlepool United on an emergency loan deal.
The vastly experienced 29-year-old will head to County Durham due to a lack of first-choice goalkeepers ahead of their Emirates FA Cup clash against Harrogate Town on Saturday afternoon and will be eligible for the squad with immediate effect.
