Fleetwood Town's Under-18s were defeated 3-1 by Preston North End at Springfields on Saturday 19 November in the Youth Alliance League.
Preston North End claimed all three points on home soil this weekend, and got off to the perfect start they scored within the first minute of the match. The hosts scored their second three minutes later, with their third coming just before the half-time whistle.
Town managed to score a late consolation goal from the penalty spot. Forward Dom Richmond stepped up to put the ball in the back of the net, but it was too late for the Cod Army to fight a comeback.
