Fleetwood Town’s Business Club played another charity match, this time against a FTFC Staff Select XI at Highbury Stadium, with all profits going to charity!

Tuesday evening saw the group arrive at the club’s stadium for their annual end-of-season game, which includes the partners that attended the bi-weekly meetings at Poolfoot Farm where they exchange details on their current business dealings.

Spectators took to the balcony as they cheered both sides on as Community Trust Committee Member Pete Murphy managed the commercial team’s side, whilst the Club’s staff team was led out by Kitchen Porter and lifelong Town fan John Roy.

In what was an entertaining fixture for all, including quite a few Fleetwood Town supporters in need of a football fix, both sides enjoyed a 90-minute game on the Highbury turf, with former professionals like Paul Caddis, Mark Yeates, and Nicky Hunt all playing in the match.

It was a great event and one we will want to sort again next year! If you are interested in joining the Business Club, you can email our Commercial Executive Sam Heaney on sam.heaney@fleetwoodtownfc.com.
