Two of the Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies teams were in action at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they did in their respected fixtures.

First-team

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies 6-2 Wigan Athletic Girls & Ladies

The first-team certainly put on a display at the weekend as they managed to put six past Wigan at Poolfoot Farm. It was a great display from start to finish with Georgia Payton securing a hat-trick on the day. Sophie Slater also got on the score sheet on her birthday, with the other two goals coming from Kira Boswell and Caitlin Tulloch.

Reserves

The reserves weren’t in action at the weekend.

Development Squad

Euxton Girls Development 4-3 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development

It was a tough one to take for the Development Squad as they narrowly lost out to Euxton on Sunday. They were hoping to add on to their win from last weekend, but it wasn’t meant to be. Even though the Ladies performed valiantly throughout with Louise Allan, Chloe Baker-Newsham, and Katie Ramsbottom getting on the score sheet, they couldn’t bring home the three points.
