Two of the Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies teams were in action at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they did in their respected fixtures.

First-team

West Didsbury & Chorlton Women 0-1 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies

The first-team added another three points to their season tally on Sunday as they managed to beat West Didsbury by one goal to nil at The Step Places Stadium. It was a great team performance from the ladies as they had to battle throughout, with Izzy Hendry making her full debut, and Kira Boswell’s goal being the difference-maker on the day.

Reserves

The Reserves were due to play at the weekend against St. Joseph's Girls, but the fixture had to be postponed due to an unplayable pitch.

Development Squad

Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development 1-0 Sir Tom Finney FC Development

The Development Squad also won their league clash at the weekend as they hosted Sir Tom Finney Development at Brews Park. Much like the first-team’s fixture, it was a fight from the start to get that opening goal and it came from the home side and the feet of Shannon Frankle. Keep up the good work, ladies!
