Four Fleetwood Town players have now joined up with their respected nations for the international break and all will be in action over the next seven days.

Paddy Lane (Northern Ireland), Carl Johnston (Northern Ireland U21), Barry Baggley (Northern Ireland U21), and Cian Hayes (Republic of Ireland U19) will all be hoping to feature on international duty, with all of the games for the players listed below.

Lane – who has featured six times for the Northern Ireland Under-21s – has become a pivotal part of the squad here at Fleetwood, nearing the top of the assist charts for the league, with five goals to his name as well. With this recent form, he has been nominated for Sky Bet League One player of the month, as well as being named in the best Under-21 XI in the entire EFL.

Johnston has become a regular in the first-team with the Cods and has amassed 20 appearances in all competitions. Baggley has recently found himself in the starting line-up in the last couple of games and has impressed in every outing thus far. Unfortunately, Chris Conn-Clarke has missed out on international duty with the Northern Ireland Under-21s due to injury.

Young winger Hayes has swiftly become a fan's favourite for his fearless playstyle whilst out on the wing, which has seen him be frequently picked by Head Coach Stephen Crainey to either start in games or be picked off the bench to make an impact. He’s been out with the Republic of Ireland U19s before and has made two appearances.
