Fleetwood Town’s Business Club met up at Poolfoot Farm on Thursday morning for breakfast, prior to finding out who the Cod Army will be facing on the opening day of the Sky Bet League One season.
With a full English breakfast on offer alongside complimentary tea and coffees, the Club’s Business Sponsors caught up at their bi-weekly, but this time it had a different feel to it with fixtures for the upcoming season announced at 9am.
Towards the end of the meeting, new head coach Scott Brown was invited to speak to the group and took part in a question-and-answer session. Brown discussed his plans and expectations for the upcoming season, which starts off with an away trip to newly-promoted Port Vale.
Sam Heaney, Commercial Executive, and Business Club host said: “It was fantastic to see all the Club Business Partners back at Poolfoot Farm for the fixture-release breakfast. It was great to get everyone together, and we can’t wait to see them once again ahead of the upcoming season.”
John Byrne, of J.T. Byrne Funeral Directors, added: “It was a superb morning. As well as the usual business referrals and networking over breakfast, the Club's new head coach Scott Brown joined us to chat through the exciting times ahead.
“It was great of Scott to take the time out of a busy first day with the team to chat through his thoughts about the new signings, and the team going forward into next season. As a Business Club, we’re fully behind the new head coach and team, and we are looking forward to the season ahead.”
The Club would like to thank our Business Sponsors for their continued support.
