The club would like to say a huge congratulations to Dylan Boyle for coming off the bench and featuring in his first competitive fixture for Northern Ireland Under-21s against Spain.

Boyle, who played alongside another young Cod in Barry Baggley, has played for Northern Ireland eight times before, whether that be for the Under-17s or in friendlies for the Under-21s, but it was another step up for the 20-year-old last week as he played in his first U21 Euro Qualifier.

The midfielder came off the bench in the 77th minute replacing the skipper Ethan Galbraith from Manchester United and saw out the game, with Baggley also coming off the bench 18 minutes prior to this for Nottingham Forest's Dale Taylor.

This is one of the many success stories from the recent international callups for Fleetwood as Paddy Lane has starred in the last two Nations League fixtures for the Northern Ireland senior team against Greece and Cyprus.

Congrats to you all and keep up the good work!
