Croatia Tour diary: Day six

10 July 2022

Day six in Croatia has come to a close and it was a casual Sunday for the squad as they focused on recovery after yesterday’s friendly against HNK Orijent 1919.

It was a late start for all the players as they had a chance to have a lie in for the first time on the trip, with everyone then meeting up for a spot of lunch around midday.

The Cods then took the afternoon to go and sightsee or even go on a jet ski on the Medulin coastline, which seemed to be enjoyable for all in the team.

With the players now having 90 minutes under their belts in the last few days, it was a change of scenery for the evening session as they went into the indoor pool at the complex and had a quick rehab workout.

Town’s sports scientist Youl Mawene oversaw the whole thing to make sure that the players were doing all of their stretches and exercises to make the most of the short time in there.

It will be the final full day in Pula tomorrow so a long day is to be expected – we will keep you up to date with what happens after the day is over.

Make sure you are in the stands to watch the Cods during the 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season by getting your very own Onward Card. Adult tickets start at just £14.17 a month and Under-16s from just £1.92 a month.
