The 'keeping coach has worked with goalkeepers from our Under-19s set up and has worked his way through to working with our Under-23s goalkeepers on a daily basis.

With impressing on and off the field, he got the opportunity to work with the first team on numerous occasions – which is a huge credit to how he has conducted himself during his time on the Fylde Coast.

Town’s Academy Manager, Jack Higgins said on move: “Ben has worked incredibly hard in his two years with us at Fleetwood Town and is fully deserved of this opportunity.

“He is a coach with a lot of potential and has built fantastic relationships with all our young keepers and their families, as well as staff across the football club.

“He’ll continue working with us during this transition period as we search for his replacement.”
