Fleetwood Town are delighted to be welcoming club partner Fortitude Fitness for this Tuesday’s game against Plymouth Argyle who will be using the game to raise awareness for Isabelle’s Charity.
Fortitude Fitness is located at Beacon Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, and boasts fantastic facilities at their location, they have top of the range of equipment, personal trainers, and a well-designed fitness class timetable.
They have kindly joined up with the club in deciding to use this game as a way of promoting awareness and raising funds for Isabelle’s Charity.
On 3 July 2021, Isabelle was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Childhood Cancer, High Risk, Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, which comes with a 50% survival rate.
Since diagnosis Isabelle has undergone a lot of intensive treatment, ranging from high dose chemotherapy, numerous cannulas, MIBG Scans, CT scans, ultrasound scans, several blood and platelet transfusions, High-Risk Surgery- only a small section of Isabelle’s Tumour was safely removed, Stem Cell Harvest & Transplant.
In the New Year, once Isabelle has recovered from her Stem Cell Transplant, she will move on to her next stage of treatment, Radio Therapy at Christy’s.
Once Isabelle has completed her treatment here in the UK there is still a 60% chance Isabelle could relapse, if this happens Isabelle's chance of survival drops to only 5%. This is devastating news, our precious girl has been through enough pain, trauma, and upset.
The charity is looking at raising funds for Isabelle and her family to travel to America for treatment, which is not currently available in the UK, this will allow Isabelle to receive possible life-saving treatment.
