Fleetwood Town’s Under-18s got back to winning ways as they managed to beat Tranmere Rovers 2-1 at Poolfoot Farm on Saturday morning.
After losing to local rivals Preston North End in the last outing, Simon Wiles’ side were looking for redemption as they hosted the Super White Army, and they did so at the club’s training complex over the weekend.
The young Cods took the lead through an own goal before Zane Marsh doubled that lead later in the game. The visitors did pull one back after this, but Town held on to their lead and walked away with all three points.
Well done, lads!
