Fleetwood Town's Development Squad are back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they are set to host Morecambe in the Central League Cup at Poolfoot Farm (1pm kick-off).
In the young Cods’ last fixture, they played an almost perfect game over in Yorkshire as they managed to beat Huddersfield Town 4-0 in the Central League at Canalside.
Town’s goals on the day came from forwards Max McMillan and Shayden Morris, who both forged chances throughout the game and each got a brace to show for themselves.
They will now look forward to a cup clash against the Shrimps at the club’s training complex and will hope to progress in the competition with a win in the afternoon fixture.
