Fleetwood Town’s training complex held their annual four-day Christmas Cup tournament at the end of December, and it was a huge success once again!
As temperatures dropped and the New Year was looming, children from across the Fylde Coast all headed down to Fleetwood Town’s training ground to compete in the site’s annual grassroots competition.
In the sold-out cup, all age groups played on the 4G pitches at Poolfoot Farm, with matches taking place on a regular basis to ensure every player gets their fair share of time on the pitch.

Under-7s Cup – FGS Boca
Under-7s Plate – Poulton Town Panthers
Under-8s Cup – Quarry Green Falcons
Under-8s Plate – FTJFC Reds
Under-9s Cup – Northfield Sports Association Blacks
Under-9s Plate – Southport Trinity Blues
Under-10s Cup – Liver Juniors
Under-10s Plate – Dukinfield Youth JFC Greens
Under-11s Cup – Irlam JFC
Under-11s Plate – Greenfield FC
Under-12s Cup – FTJFC Whites
Under-12s Plate – Rochdale Sacred Heart Tigers Reds
It was a brilliant cup with lots of talent on show in the various age groups. Everyone at Poolfoot Farm hopes that everyone enjoyed their time playing on the site and hope to see you all again in the near future.
