Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Harvey Macadam from Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton United for an undisclosed fee.
The Cods fought off a host of EFL clubs for the 20-year-old’s signature, signing him to a two-and-a-half-year deal after he became an ever-present in the Ashton side this season. He featured in 20 league games as well as five cup ties across three different competitions.
Macadam previously played for Nelson FC in the First Division North ahead of joining Ashton back in February 2020, where he played 16 games, with 15 of those in the league. He will join up with the Development Squad with immediate effect.
