Defender James Hill, who recently secured a move to Championship leaders Bournemouth, has sent the following message out to the Cod Army.
Dear Fleetwood Town,
I will never forget the journey that I've been on with you all. From under-14s to the first-team, you have supported me every step of the way. Every win was a pleasure to be a part of, every draw was a fight we went through together, and every loss was turned into an opportunity to develop.
Thank you to all the fans who always stood by us and continued to support me through the many ups and downs; from high-fives to singing my names so the whole of the Fylde Coast could hear it!
I want to personally thank Andy Pilley, all the Fleetwood staff, players, and the community. It's been an absolute pleasure to start my career as part of such an amazing team and football club. I will be forever grateful for the opportunities you have given me.
