Fleetwood Town’s Former Players Association (FPA) held another successful meeting on Thursday morning as over 35 members turned up to the monthly catch-up.

The group turned up to the club’s training complex for the normal time of 10am and made a well-needed brew, with the temperatures still near freezing outside.

FPA Secretary, Phil Brown, took the stage in front of the group and announced the monthly birthdays as well as other notices that the players may have needed to know for the next four weeks, whilst telling a few jokes as well.

One of the former players in Roy Whitehouse was supposed to give a speech to the group, listing off key details about his career from start to end, but he, unfortunately, didn’t make it to the meeting as he is currently in isolation due to Covid-19 – get well soon, Roy!

The FPA would like to thank everyone who attended the meeting and wanted to say that they look forward to seeing you at Poolfoot Farm once again on Thursday 3 February at 10am.
