Fleetwood Town can confirm defender Sam Bird has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Hyde United on an initial month-long loan.
Bird has made the step into first-team football this season after making his debut against Barrow in the Papa John’s Trophy in October, his full debut against Bolton Wanderers in November, and has been named multiple times on the bench for league games since then.
The 18-year-old has already spent time out on loan this season with Farsley Celtic and will join the side where Paddy Lane signed from back in the summer.
