Two of the Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies teams were in action at the weekend and here is a round-up of how they did in their respected fixtures.

First Team

Mossley Hill P-P Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies

The first-team travelled to Liverpool for their league clash against Mossley, which kick off on time but was called to a stop 10 minutes before the break as the referee deemed the game not fit to continue due to an unplayable pitch at Mossley Athletic Club – the game will have to replayed at a later date.

Development Squad

GT7 Academy 0-1 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development Squad

The Development Squad carried on their unbeaten start to 2022 at they made the trip to Kendal to face GT7 Academy in their latest outing. It was a challenging fixture against a tough opponent, in some even trickier conditions, but a goal from Jordan O’Neill was the difference on the day, meaning the Cods brought back all three points to the Fylde Coast.
