Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara from Sky Bet League One side Burton Albion.
The Manchester-born ‘keeper, who started his career at Premier League giants Manchester United, spent time on loan at teams like Trafford and Macclesfield Town before heading to Burton in the 2019/20 season, where he impressed keeping 12 clean sheets in all competitions in that time.
Since signing on a permanent deal with the Brewers, O’Hara – who has played nine times for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s and the national sides men’s team on two occasions against Bulgaria and New Zealand respectively - went on to make a further 20 appearances and now joins the Cods on a short-term deal.
