It’s been an action-packed last ten days for our players out on loan who have played a lot of football for their respected loan sides in the last week – here’s how they got on.

It was a change of scenery for Akiel Raffie as his loan move at Kendal Town came to an end and subsequently made the switch to Nantwich Town. He has been involved in multiple games since arriving at The Dabbers, starting with their clash against Mickleover, which saw him earn man of the match.

He caused trouble throughout the game, hitting the post and the side netting, and had the saem effect in their next clash against Ashton United. Raffie then made his Cheshire Cup debut in a slightly different role but managed 90 minutes in all three matches – great start to life at Nantwich, Akiel!

Another one of our young Cods who made a loan switch was defender Connor Teale who ended his loan at Marine and jumped up to the National League North with Curzon Ashton, where he was thrown right into the action, keeping a clean sheet on his debut against AFC Fylde just a day later.

In an odd turn of events, Teale ended up playing Fleetwood’s Development Squad in a friendly on Tuesday evening and managed another 90 minutes in his legs – another good start to life at another club!

Harry Wilson has been at the heart of the action at FC United of Manchester, a role of which he is becoming accustomed to, as he started against Whitby Town. The midfielder got his head on a corner, nodding it toward goal and it was turned in by an opposition player at the back post.

Wilson then assisted FC United's third goal of the game, taking the ball down for a simple finish by Morris, before getting subbed off in the 66th minute. He was named on the bench in their next game, that was a 2-1 win over Grantham Town away from home.

Defender Sam Bird made his Hyde United debut on Saturday as they hosted Buxton United in a league fixture. Even though it was his debut, he fit straight in to the style they play and looked particularly good in the one-on-one battles.

From what was the Fleetwood trio at Kendal Town, two remain in Billy Batch and Danny Edwards, who both featured in the side’s game against Leek Town. Batch played all 90 minutes, with Edwards being subbed off after 87, but he did make an impact as he netter Kendal’s only goal of the game in the first half.

Both Harry Clarke and Connor Eastham have been in action for AFC Blackpool, but on the former featured in their league clash against Atherton Laburnum Rovers. Clarke created chances whilst on the pitch, managing 82 minutes on the night. Both started in their game against St Helens Town at the weekend and played 90 minutes in the 6-1 win at Jepson Way.

Keep up the good work lads!
