Fleetwood Town can confirm young midfielder Danny Edwards has been recalled from Kendal Town and has joined Northern Premier League Division One West side Colne on an initial month-long loan.
Edwards, who has been named on the bench on multiple occasions for the first-team, has recently been out on loan at Kendal where he became a constant figure in the side, scoring on his last game for the Mintcakes against Leek Town.
The 19-year-old signed his first professional at the club back in March 2021 after impressing in the Under-18s and playing a key role in the side’s FA Youth Cup run when they reached the joint-furthest they have ever been in the competition – the fourth round.
