Fleetwood Town’s Business Club met up in a different location this week as they headed down to Winter Gardens in Blackpool to test out their brand-new conference centre on Thursday morning.
The commercial group, which was formed back in 2013, has proven very popular and successful over the years not just for the members involved but the football club itself.
Traditionally, they all meet at the club’s training complex, Poolfoot Farm, for their bi-weekly event, but this time out the location changed to the newly built Winter Gardens conference centre for a change.
The conference centre is a brand-new, purpose-built events venue and features state of the art amenities necessary for hosting modern conferences and exhibitions including the latest audio and visual technology.
It’s one of the largest venues of its kind in the north of England. It is split over two floors, with an exhibition space on the first floor and conference space with a capacity of 2000 on the second floor.
The Fleetwood Town Business Club met at 7am for breakfast before the networking went ahead followed by a tour of the centre by Commercial Director and Business Club member, Paula Davies before ending with a video of the building
