Football is universal and brings people together no matter what age, ethnicity, background or religion, but for so many opportunity is scarce.
This Christmas, as a Trust, we have decided to launch an appeal for football foots and football trainers in good condition. These will be donated straight back into the heart of our community ensuring that people don’t have to go without this Christmas!
John Hartley, Community Cohesion & Inclusion Manager said: “We strongly believe that football is inclusive to all and although times are tough for many, we believe this shouldn’t stop young people playing.
"The football boot appeal will see children being given the opportunity to play in teams, make new friends and be part of the world wide football community.
"There should be no barrier to playing football."
