Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of Scottish international defender Mikey Devlin on a short-term contract.
The 28-year-old, who featured for Scotland’s national team on three occasions, joins Town after making more than 100 appearances for Hamilton Academical - progressing through their youth system - and was named club captain before making the move to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.
Motherwell-born Devlin spent four years in the Scottish top-flight and was in the squad alongside Fleetwood’s head coach Scott Brown during the 2021/22 season.
This summer, he has been training with the Cods and, after impressing during those sessions, he has been handed a short-term deal with Town.
The centre-half will wear the number five shirt during his time on the Fylde Coast.
Welcome to Fleetwood, Mikey!
