Fleetwood Town are proudly hosting a charity match between the Fleetwood All Stars and Blackpool Legends at Highbury in May to raise money for Isabelle Grundy’s medical treatment.

Legends will spread themselves across the side, ranging from Jamie Milligan and Jamie McGuire in the middle, to Gareth Seddon and Lennie Reid up top, with legendary centre-halves Nathan Pond and Steve McNulty at the back. Not only this but Richie Allen, Scott Davies and a few more will also be in the squad on the afternoon.

In terms of the Blackpool team on the day, they will be managed by Eammon O'Keefe, with players like Phil Clarkson, Danny Coid, Keigan Parker, and Brain Butler all set to feature on the afternoon.

They are making a day of it as children will be able to take part in a junior penalty shoot-out ahead of the game, with the Sea Cadets Old Boys playing music for the occasion as well.

The game is in aid of Isabelle, who lives in Cleveleys, as she was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in the summer of 2021 after finding a lump in her stomach, which only has a 50% survival rate.

Since diagnosis, she has undergone intensive treatment, ranging from high-dose chemotherapy to blood transplants. Her parents think that treatment in America that is not readily available in the UK is her best chance at beating cancer for good, but it is incredibly expensive.

The charity match is set to take place on Sunday 1 May at 4pm, with the turnstiles opening an hour before kick-off. Tickets are £5 each and are being sold on our online store HERE. Get yours today to help raise money for Isabelle!
