Fleetwood United find themselves at the top of the UAE Third Division with one game to go after beating Elite Falcons 4-1 on Monday.

With the side earning a point in their top of the table clash against Al Nujoom in the game before, they went into this fixture at Dubai Sports City full of confidence, and they showed that in this game.

It took a while for the deadlock to be broken, but it did come six minutes before the half-time break when Mamadou Bamba found the back of the net. United added a second straight after the restart though Samuel Njangui, with Henry Bouda making it three on the hour mark.

The scoring wasn't done there as the captain, Ibrahima Badji wanted to get in on the act, scoring the fourth and final Fleetwood goal of the game 19 minutes from time rounding out a brilliant performance from the Dubai Cods.

United will be back in action for their final game of the season on Friday 22 April as they face fourth place Al Gharbia at the Shiekh Zayed Cricket Stadium in a 9pm kick-off (4pm UK time).

United XI: Kouassi, Badji (C), Doukoure, Noumonvi, Militaru (Kouakou 75'), Assumpcao (Dosso 46'), Bouda, Ebale (De Souza 75'), Njangui (Dega 75'), Ndiaye, Bamba (Hamad 82').
