First Team

Crewe Alexandra Women 1-1 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies

The first team travelled to Staffordshire on Sunday afternoon as they were set to take on Crewe in a league fixture at the Cumberland Sports Arena, which ended up being an extremely competitive clash between the two sides, resulting in a 1-1 draw as Ellie Parkinson scored Town’s only goal on the day.

The Reserves were also in action on Sunday, with their local derby that finished in an entertaining 3-1 win over Blackpool Ladies at Hassra Pavilion in Thornton-Cleveleys. In the dominant performance, a brace from Carmel Daniel and another from Islay Aitken secured the win.

Wrens Ladies Development played out a 3-3 draw against Bolton County on Sunday, with Karla Broom bagging a hat-trick on the day, as the side were unlucky not to take full points from their league clash at School Road.
