The first-team were in action yet again on Sunday in the third qualifying round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, comfortably beating Washington away from home to make it to the next round of the competition. Ellie Parkinson bagged a hat-trick, and got herself the player of the match award, with Georgia Payton also getting a goal on the day at Northumbria Centre.

Accrington Stanley Ladies & Girls 3-3 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves
The Reserves played a brilliant six-goal thriller away from home over the weekend, finishing the game in a 3-3 draw. Lydia Wright got herself on the score sheet, netting a brace on the day, with Islay Aitken scoring yet again for the Wrens Ladies in what was an entertaining afternoon at Stanley Sports Hub.
