Defender James Hill has opened his account for England Under-20s as he scored the fifth goal in their 5-0 win over Czech Republic on Monday evening.

The 19-year-old, who started and played the duration of England’s 1-1 draw against Italy on Friday, was named as a bench player for the start of the Czech clash but was subbed on at half-time for Hibernian’s Nathan Wood.

The young Cod certainly made an impact when he came on as he stormed forwards and managed to nod in Kaine Kesler Hayden’s (Aston Villa) cross from deep past the opposition goalkeeper from five yards.

Hill now has three international appearances to his name, one start and two off the bench, with hopefully more to come in the near future – congrats, Hilly!
