The first-team bounced back from their Vitality Women’s FA Cup defeat last week as they produced a dominant performance against Penwortham, beating the 5-0 at Poolfoot Farm on Sunday afternoon. There were five different goal scorers with Parkinson, Boswell, Lord, Payton, and Sarsfield all getting on the score sheet.

AFC Darwen Ladies Reserves 2-4 Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves
The Reserves continued their rich goal scoring form as they managed to put four past Darwen after netting five last weekend against Accrington Stanley Girls and Ladies. It was another outstanding performance, with fantastic football played throughout. Carmel Daniel grabbed a brace, with Lydia Wright and Ellie McNally adding to the tally.

Development Squad
Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development Squad 1-4 Bury FC Foundation Women
It was a tough defeat at the weekend for the Development Squad as they hosted Bury Foundation at Brews Park, with them returning to action for the first time in a matter of weeks. They performed valiantly from start to end, with spells of domination in the game shown through Savannah Chapman’s goal, but it wasn’t meant to be.
