Forward Cian Hayes has returned to Fleetwood Town after completing his loan spell at FC United of Manchester, with the young Cod proving to be a pivotal player in his time at Broadhurst Park.
Hayes, who has been in the goals throughout his time at the club, scoring on his debut against Witton Albion just 24 after joining the Reds at the end of October, and in his final game which was a 2-0 win over Mickleover on Saturday afternoon.
After his final game for FC United, Cian had this to say in an interview: “It was nice to get a goal and great to get the result. This has been a great experience for me, all the players and fans have been great with me.”
