Fleetwood Town’s Former Players Association (FPA) held another successful meeting on Thursday morning as over 40 members turned up to the monthly catch-up.
The group turned up to the club’s training complex for the normal time of 10am and made a well-needed brew, with the temperatures getting colder outside.
FPA Chairman, Stuart Murdoch, took the stage in front of the group and announced the monthly birthdays as well as other notices that the players may have needed to know for the next four weeks, whilst telling a few jokes as well.
This month’s guest speaker was member, Derek Lancaster, who talked about his time playing for the Cods back in the day and looked at his years at other clubs during his career, including his time looking after the Czech Republic in Euro 1996 and much more.
The FPA would like to thank everyone who attended the meeting and wanted to say that they look forward to seeing you at Poolfoot Farm once again on Thursday 2 December at 10am.
