Fleetwood Town are happily supporting International Men’s Day once again this year, with tickets for this weekend's game against Morecambe being handed out to local charities, Fleetwood Men’s Shed and Calcio Connect Fleetwood.

As we do for every game, the club offers 15 free tickets to Men’s Shed, the charity that help men from the local area get the help they may need and a friendly face to talk to.

The charity was formed in October 2018 with the initial idea of gaining land for a shed to be purchased, to be used by residents in the town to spend time creating various pieces of woodwork.

Men’s Sheds have been set up across the country as a way to offer support and friendship in a non-judgemental environment, and a group of local residents has established a group in Fleetwood, who will be attending the game at the weekend against The Shrimps.

Town's Community Trust has helped raise money for the charity in the past as their National Citizens Service (NCS) team helped raise over £500 through two events, designed and delivered by the groups involved.

As the club celebrates the day, we’ve also extended the free ticket initiative to Calcio Connect, who are the Community Mental Health Team for adults based in the town centre in Fleetwood, giving another 15 tickets to them.

We hope you all have a great time at Highbury this weekend!
