It’s not just Jamie Vardy Fleetwood fans will recognise on the Wembley turf on FA Cup final day later - he’ll be joined by Steve Curwood.
The Town CEO has the honour of being FA Cup Committee chairman this season as part of his duties on the FA Council, and he’ll be pitchside ahead of the game alongside The FA's President, His Royal Highness Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
Chairman Andy Pilley says it's a huge day for the Cod Army: “We are immensely proud of having our CEO representing the club at what is one of the biggest days in the world football calendar. We’ll all be watching and hoping for a Jamie Vardy winner to make it the perfect afternoon!”
