Young defender Josh Feeney has made another milestone in his career this week as he was chosen to captain the England Under-16s side for their clash against Northern Ireland.

The 16-year-old - who was on the bench multiple times for the first-team at the end of the 2020/21 Sky bet League One season - set off for the international camp at the start of the month in a bid to prepare for their clash, which took place on Thursday.

Feeney wore the captains armband during the game and not only did the side walk away 6-0 winners on the day, the young defender managed to get on the score sheet as well, notching in his first international goal.

What an achievement, Josh!
