Fleetwood Town’s Development Squad made their way back to Poolfoot Farm on Monday morning to kickstart their pre-season preparations ahead of a busy summer schedule.
The day started early on as everyone met up for the first time since the summer break and had some time to chat to each other before heading off to the gym that morning to undertake some physio tests to make sure they have all come back in decent shape.
After that, the players then undertook a weights session to test their strength has built up over the break, with players showing their routines outside of training are working. These results were all measured and then they went out onto the grass.
A light stretching session followed to make sure all the lads were ready for what was about to come, the first day bleep test. Once all the stretches were done, the squad lined up and started the test and all performed brilliantly, with first-team and Development Squad coaches watching on.
