Fleetwood Town’s first-team were back at Poolfoot Farm on Wednesday morning for their first day of pre-season in preparation for a busy schedule.
All the players started the day by meeting up and having a quick catch-up about their summers before making their way to the gym to undertake some physio tests so the club can look for anything that needs flagging after the break.
A light stretching session followed to make sure all the lads were ready for what was about to come, the first day bleep test. Once all the stretches were done, the squad lined up and started the test and all performed valiantly.
After that, the players had some lunch before heading back out onto the grass to do some work on the ball and blow away any cobwebs from the summer off. Everyone had smiles on their faces as they all looked happy to be back training as the sun was beating down on the Fylde Coast.
