Fleetwood Town's Development Squad were in action on Wednesday as they beat Huddersfield Town 5-0 at Poolfoot Farm.

Barrie McKay started the scoring in the game, after converting a free-kick on the half-hour mark, before Ged Garner doubled the sides lead just six minutes later.

After the half, Harrison Biggins made it three for Town as he curled his effort from 20-yards past the Huddersfield goalkeeper.

Garner managed to pick up his second of the game 25 minutes from time, completing his brace, as he latched onto Ryan Rydel’s cross from the left.

The fifth, and final, goal of the game came just before the full-time whistle as Shayden Morris linked up with Chris Conn-Clarke and found the back of the net - finishing off a brillaint performance from the Cod Army.
