Defender James Hill has been called up to the England Under-20s setup for the first time and will be playing Romania at St George's Park whilst there.
Hill – who has become a stable member of the first-team back line this season – has attracted interest locally, becoming a fans’ favourite, and now nationally after receiving the call to be part of Andy Edwards’ side early next month.
The 19-year-old will join up with the England squad on Thursday 2 September and will train with them until their game against Romania on Monday 6 September.
Players in the England Under-20s at the moment include Manchester City’s Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Thomas Doyle, Chelsea’s Faustino Anjorin, Leicester City’s Luke Thomas, Everton’s Ellis Simms, Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun and many more.
Go on, Hilly!
