Fleetwood Town are set to travel to the Pirelli Stadium to face Burton Albion on Tuesday for another Sky Bet League One clash.

The Cod Army have faced The Brewers 14 times in competitive fixtures, with Fleetwood winning eight, Burton winning five, and the two sides have shared the points on only one occasion.

The last time these sides met, Fleetwood walked away from Highbury with all three points after beating Burton 2-1 back in September.

Goals either side of halftime from Callum Camps and Paddy Madden made it a winning start to the season for Joey Barton's Cod Army.

A header from Burton's John Brayford had brought the score level with twenty-five minutes to go but Madden's close-range strike ensured the three points remained at Highbury.

One game that sticks in the memory of the Cod Army will be the Wembley Sky Bet League Two play-off final victory back in 2014, but a more recent one would have to be the 4-1 win back in October 2019 at Highbury.

Paddy Madden’s second-half hat-trick was the difference between the two sides, after two goals and a disallowed goal in the first half.

Ched Evans put the Cod Army into the lead on his 50th appearance for the club before Oliver Sarkic equalised right on the stroke of half-time.
