Fleetwood Town’s Under-18s were out in the community this week helping package and hand out parcels at a local food bank.
The young Cods started the day by bringing in food from the morning’s delivery and placed it in the correct areas for the staff to sort out. When that was all done, the players set their stations and packed up the food in the relevant parcels.
The group then split up into two teams – first years and Under-16s – as they finished off their initial tasks and packaged up portions of rice and pasta to hand out to those in need.
Overall, the youngsters had a great day, helping out a brilliant cause, which ended up helping everyone involved. Well done, lads!
