Fleetwood Town are pleased to announce Max McMillan has joined the club from Premier League side Leeds United.

The young forward has been involved in various competitions for Leeds so far this season, featuring 14 times in the U18 Premier League and making multiple appearances in the FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy, and Premier League 2.

McMillan has ties to South Africa through his father and has voiced that he would like to play for Bafana Bafana in the future, with the South African Football Association aware of his eligibility from his time at Leeds.

The 18-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a deal with the Cod Army until the end of the 2022/23 season, with the club holding an option of a further year. He will join up with Stephen Crainey's Development Squad with immediate effect.

Welcome, Max!
