Ballot information for potential test event

17 September 2020

Sponsored by

Fleetwood Town can confirm we have formally applied to hold a limited capacity test event for our Sky Bet League One game against AFC Wimbledon later this month.

Clubs have been invited by the EFL to apply, subject to local authority authorisation, to host events to test safety processes ahead of a planned return to limited crowds in October.

Due to the capacity of Highbury Stadium, we are planning for our test game to be capped at 600 people and will hold a random ballot of Onward Card holders early next week to determine who is able to attend. Anyone not successful in the ballot will once again be sent an iFollow code to watch at home.

With the above in mind, we are asking all Onward Card holders to complete THIS FORM to inform of us of your availability and intention to attend the limited capacity test game which kick-off at 3pm on Saturday 26 September. Please note we have limited these applications to three customers per form, multiple entries will be discarded.

The ballot application remains open until 12:00pm on Monday 21 September, after which the ballot will be held, and customers will be sent an E-Ticket via email if they are successful.

A very limited amount of 100 will be available in person at the club shop on Thursday 24th September on a first come first served basis (limited to two per Onward Card holder) for those who have no access to the internet to complete the online form.

Please note for the test game supporters will not be seated in bubbles and instead all allocated socially distanced seats on a first-come first-served basis. You may be placed in a stand/block which you don’t normally use.

Should we be rejected for the test event we will cancel the ballot process and issue all Onward Card holders a code to watch the game live at home via iFollow.

From October we are anticipating being able to accommodate all Onward Card holders for home league games at Highbury Stadium, and have been working through the bubble forms you completed earlier this month to allocate you new temporary cards for the coming season.

While many of you have had to move seats/blocks to accommodate social distancing, we have attempted to cover your special requests on a first-come first-served basis.

Please keep an eye on social media and the club’s official website for full information on when they will be available for collection and active.

Once government guidelines allow, all Onward Card holders will revert back to their original seats/stand and will be issued a new Onward Card which will be in operation for the rest of the season.
