I’m writing to you following the hugely disappointing news the plan to see supporters back at Highbury Stadium has been paused for the time being.
As you can imagine, the club have worked tirelessly on ensuring you would be able to come and support the team in an organised and safe way, something we were and remain confident in delivering. For the time being we will continue to play behind closed doors, although we are hopeful we will see Onward Card holders return as soon as possible.
While we have been regularly updating you all on our club website and social media channels, I felt it was important to write personally to you to thank you for your incredible support and understanding during what is a difficult time for Fleetwood Town and everyone in football. I can promise you this loyalty will be never forgotten, it makes me proud to be Chairman of this football club.
I’m delighted almost all of you have continued your commitment to the club and hopefully you’ve been enjoying watching the games live from home using the iFollow platform. In October we have three league home games available on iFollow which means you’ll receive £30 worth of passes to watch our games, the fourth against Hull City will be live on Sky Sports.
Additional to that, as a thank you from me personally, I’d like to invite you to enjoy two free pizzas (worth a total of £20) at our Pizza Calcio restaurant during the month of October. On the pitch we’ve made a very encouraging start to the season and, with further additions due to follow in the coming weeks, hopefully we will all end the season inside Highbury Stadium celebrating something special.
