Lockdown hasn’t stopped the Fleetwood Town family from sticking together, as the Fleetwood Town Official Supporters’ Club (FTOSC) has made some fans days with some special gifts during this testing time.
The Magowan family, from Rossall Grange Lane in Fleetwood, were especially happy to hear from FTOSC chairman Bernard Noble.
Joe Magowan won a football signed by all the Town players as the latest winner of FTOSC’s monthly raffle.
And Joe’s daughter Grace was one of six junior members to receive an FTOSC card and a signed photograph of their favourite player on their birthday this month. Joe said: “We have family membership of the Supporters’ Club and I look forward to reading the updates. They are doing a great job, in particular with the Junior Cods’ birthday cards and signed photo.”
Grace, a pupil at Shakespeare Primary School, was thrilled to receive her photograph of Kyle Dempsey.
Others pictured here who received a brilliant birthday treat from FTOSC are Dan Bowker, Benjamin Brooksbank, Copeland Jackson, Logan Pirie and Charlie Sneddon.
Paddy Madden is the favourite player of Charlie and Dan. Dan, aged 13, attends Cardinal Allen Catholic High School in Fleetwood, while seven-year-old Charlie goes to St Leonard’s Church of England Primary in Preston.
Nine-year-old Bispham Endowed pupil Benjamin plays for Layton Juniors and wears the number six shirt, just like his favourite player Harry Souttar. Copeland and Logan are both aged six and attend primary schools in Fleetwood.
Copeland attends Flakefleet Primary and his favourite player is Harrison Biggins, while Logan is a pupil at Larkholme and likes all the players equally.
FTOSC is most grateful to Rob Holloway at Media Signs Print of Bispham for producing the cards free of charge.
