Fleetwood Town can confirm the retained list following the conclusion of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season.
Six professionals will leave the club following the end of their contracts. Kyle Dempsey, Matt Gilks, Conor McAleny, Dean Marney, James Cottam, and Gerard Garner depart Highbury with the best wishes of everyone at the club.
Laurence Smith has agreed a one-year extension with the club for the 2020/21 season.
Options in the contracts of Macauley Southam-Hales and Harrison Holgate have been activated, which means that they are under contract for a further 12 months.
Callum Connolly, Lewis Gibson, Barrie McKay, Harry Souttar, Jordan Rossiter, and Isak Thorvaldsson have returned to their parent clubs following the end of loan deals.
Talks are ongoing with Glenn Whelan about an extension to his contract which has now expired.
