Three Fleetwood Town players were in action for their loan sides at the weekend, and here’s how they got on.
Eddie Clarke made his debut for Stockport County on Saturday as the Hatters were held to a 0-0 draw at Edgeley Park by Sutton United. It was a game which produced few chances and neither team were able to find a winner, which could’ve seen Stockport move into the play-off places.
Ash Hunter was one of two Salford City players to see red in their 2-1 win against Forest Green Rovers on Saturday. Hunter went down under a challenge on the half-way-line, but was adjudged to have dived and was shown his second yellow of the game. Salford managed to hold on for their win, which sees them move up to 13th place in League Two.
Michael Fowler came on as a second-half substitute for Bamber Bridge as they ran out 2-1 winners over Buxton in a Northern Premier League Clash. Fowler almost made an instant impact as he took the ball past two defenders before firing just wide. Brig sit in 15th place in the league.
