Fleetwood Town's annual memorial fixture is set to take place in the first fixture after the new year against Ipswich Town on Saturday 2 January.

The club will pay our respects to supporters who have passed away during 2020 and JT Byrne Funeral Directors, who are the club’s official Memorial Partners, will be the matchday sponsors.

A minute’s silence will be observed ahead of kick-off, with names displayed on the big screen, as a tribute to the supporters who have passed away over the last year.

John Byrne, Director at JT Byrne, told us: “The memorial fixture at Fleetwood Town is always a game close to our hearts.

“The heartfelt gesture from the club to dedicate the first home game of the new year for the fans and supporters of the club who have passed away is always appreciated by the football community of Fleetwood.

“This time of the year is especially difficult when a loved one has passed away and even more so to the current situation, we see ourselves facing as a community.”

If you would like to remember a member of the Cod Army, please send full details to stefan.otway@fleetwoodtownfc.com by Friday 1 January.
