Fleetwood Town are disappointed Tier 3 restrictions will prevent supporters attending this weekend's derby game against Blackpool but remain hopeful we will see fans return later this month - and are appealing for supporter assistance in ensuring as many people as possible can return to Highbury Stadium.
Ahead of the Government's promised announcement on potential easing of Covid-19 restrictions on December 16, the club are putting plans in place for a possible return for spectators on a limited basis for our Sky Bet League One game against Wigan on December 19 - on a test event capacity.
For this game we will revert back to the ballot scheme which will allow around 50% of our Onward Card holders to attend Highbury Stadium, with that number rising to 100% for subsequent games until restrictions are further eased.
And in an attempt to accommodate all of our loyal Onward Card holders, we are asking for volunteers to exchange their seats for standing tickets while restrictions remain in place. In return we will offer any volunteers the following:
- Guaranteed entry to all restricted crowd events, including test event. (From Tier 2 guidelines being introduced).
- Pro-rata refund for ticket difference in standing areas.
- Two free pizzas at Pizza Calcio based at our Poolfoot Farm training complex.
To help out and guaranteed your place on the terrace for the rest of the season, please click HERE. In the event of us not receiving sufficient volunteers, we will hold a ballot to determine who will temporarily be required to move to the standing areas.
For everyone else we have been working through the bubble forms which were completed by Onward Card holders in September and will be issuing temporary 'Covid Onward Cards' in the coming weeks. Please note almost all seated supporters have seen their seats changed due to socially distancing guidelines, with seats issued on a first-come-first-served basis relating to the bubble forms.
All Onward Card holders will revert to their original seats/stands once guidelines are lifted.
